Is this a Hurst shift lever?
Hi,
You've prolly followed on my Shift Knob threads, and learned that I'm trying to make a custom shift knob. Well, after being told by several people about the thread size on stock 89 5.0L (which turns out to be M12 1.75), I have learned (or so my dad claims) the thread no my lever isn't M12 1.75; the thread on mine seems to be a bit finer. I also discovered that there is an H embossed on my shift lever (just below the threaded part). Also, while looking on eBay, I stumbled upon someone selling a Hurst shifter ball. Here's the url. And here's the picture: . I looked around the shifter unit and couldn't find any other markings that would indicate my shift unit is by Hurst. So I'm just guessing just the lever is Hurst. Any comments? Bye! ------------------ Gautam N. Lad http://www.cubicdesign.com http://www.cubicdesign.com/mustang/ |
