![]() You can either have them hooked up to a toggle switch so you say when it comes on and off. Or you can hook it up to a thermostat through the radiator and have it come on at a certain temperature. Those are the only 2 ways I know of.

![]() I took an electric fan off of a 94 thunderbird at a junk yard, it was only 25 bucks and works great!!!!
I wired it up by finding a hot wire in the wiring harness that is hot when you turn the key forward and dead when the key is turned back. That way when you start the car your fan comes on and when you shut your car off the fan goes off. ![]() I have a blackmagic and it is great. I wouldn't hook it up to a toggle switch because after you run the car are you going to wait around after for the car to cool down to turn it off? The automatic turn on/turn off is fine, also it has an adjustment switch on it to keep it on longer or shorter if your car heats up real easy or something. I would also not have it turn on everytime you start the car because it doesn't need to be on all the time and you don't want to put any more strain on the alternator/battery than you need to.
