Default Help!!

Just got these results back on the smog test on my newly rebuilt engine. Can anybody tell me what they mean and where to start with fixes??? Car is '83 5.0 with Holley carb (rejected slightly up), 3/4 cam and long headers.

NOS 4413 PASS
HC 344 FAIL
CO% 4.8 FAIL (BIG TIME!)
02% 0.9
C02% 11.3

thanks.

You need to tell us what aftermarket parts you have on it, i.e. camshaft. Also if you have the cats still on it or not. I am assuming you do since you are smogging it.

Was there an oxygen (o2) reading too? You're running very rich, but if your O2 level is less than your CO level, your cats aren't any good.

What's your story?
