I Did It, I made 350 RWHP !!!!
I finally got the engine up and running pretty well. This thing really runs awesome. It has alot more toque than I thought it would.
Every other dyno tune I got was at Kuffman's in Dillsburg, PA. I did pick up 20 RWHP there but it ran lean as hell so I thought Id try somewhere different, Johnny lightning was the place I chose. It took them two weeks to get me In but I'm glad they did. 1st run (Base Pull) 326 RWHP/ 311 RWTQ (11.2 A/F) (15* timing) 2nd Run: 346 RWHP/ 320 RWTQ (13.8 A/F) (15* timing) 3rd Run: 353 RWHP/ 319 RWTQ (14.5 A/F) (16* timing) 4th Run (150 Shot) 502 RWHP/ 511 RWTQ (15.2 A/F) (13* timing) I didn't want to run anymore nitrous because the A/F was kindof lean with the 150 shot so I think its time to get bigger fuel rails and lines. |

Nice numbers, post the graph so we can see the power curve.

Not tryin to be a dyck, but how much were ya sprayin? That's a hell of a HP spread.....

Re: I Did It, I made 350 RWHP !!!!
That's too lean, both N/A and on the spray. N/A should tune out around 12.8 or 13.0:1 max. On the sauce you should be shooting for the mid-11's. Running 15:1 on the spray is just asking for some holes in the pistons IMO.

Looking at the timing, is that base? If so, then that's about 33-degrees WOT total which is about right N/A. On the sauce I'd be looking for about 6-degrees less for a safe tune, maybe a little more for a good race setup. 13-degrees base will put you about 30-degrees total.
