![]() I've been on the fence on whether or not I should sell my car, main reasons for selling it would be:
The car has put me too far in debt Insurance is gonna be huge to cover this beast I'm not comfortable leaving it anywhere, theft, vandals, accidents I want to pursue other interests, school, computers, cars, etc. I love this car, it's fast, loud, gets a ton of attention and compliments, but it turns out that it's not what I want right now. So anyway, I've been telling people that I'd accept as little as $15,000 CDN (approx $10,000 US), and I just got an offer in that amount after weeks of little interest.. I've invested $23,000 CDN (approx $15,000 US). I havn't placed it in local ads and other than a brief stint on eBay, I really havn't tried too hard to sell it. Obviously I'm going to lose money, but I certainly don't want to undersell this beast...so I need a rough estimate of what the average enthusist would buy it for. Please visit my site, http://www.kveder.net/mustang/ for details and pictures. |

![]() In my opinion, (if you can) you should go get the car dynoed to find out how much rwhp and rwft this car is putting out. This will help the buyer be more informed about what kind of beast he or she is buying. I have thoroughly looked at all of the pictures, and the list of modifications and my personal opinion is that the car is worth $15,000 US. (Sorry, I do not know the currency exchange for Canadian dollars.) Good luck on selling your car, and let us know what she finally goes for.

![]() Well, once again this is just an opinion, but I would think you would be very lucky to get $15,000 for it. If you have already had that offer, you might want to take it.

![]() Opinions are good. I'm being realistic here, so I need a rough estimate.
Keep in mind, that there's no more than 1000 miles on all the parts. |

![]() The sad reality is you do not get anywhere near what you put in back. When I purchased my car the guy showed me the build sheet for the engine $10K!! (it was only a year old). That is basically what I go the car for.
So in the end you sell it for what someone wants to buy it for. I think, after seeing your website (nice car BTW) that anything from $11k - $15k would be reasonable. It really depends on your local market. Here in T.O the prices of used 5.0's are going up because good ones are increasingly harder to find. Once you get into the $15k range though the car better be super mint and fast (ie for me a blower would be manditory at that price). You have done a real nice job at restoration/improvement, now you need a buyer. best of luck. Mike
