Angry Please Help!!

Just a few months ago you guys helped me with the problem I was having with my wife's 2000 Explorer (multi-function switch). Well now it's having trouble starting. It turns over fine, it just seems like there's no spark or fuel. I called the dealership and some guy told me to put my foot all the way down on the accelerator and see if it starts and it did. He then told me it needs a tune-up. That would be fine but this truck only has 24,000 miles on it? I change the oil ever 3,000 miles and use STP Super Concentrated Injector cleaner at every oil change. What do you guys think? Should I break down and change my cap, rotor and plugs?? It just seems too early for a tune-up. Please help!!

I don't know too much about Explorer's exactly, but I have seen this before. The usual suspect for this is usually the throttle position sensor. I think the part is only about 28 bucks and installs in about 3-5 minutes.

I would check that out before you get a full tune-up for nothing.
