You should be able to find a GT for around 5K, but I don't know if you'll how enough for flow, off-road H-pipe and headers.

1987-1992 Mustangs have factory forged pistons. There are people on this board spraying a 150hp shot. I wouldn't go above that.

When i got to the track and get race fuel, I spray 175. Only on race fuel!! I have a 190lph fuel pump and 24lb injectors so I know I am getting plenty of fuel tho. I would not go above 125 on stock pump and injectors. I also only run 10 degrees of timing. John

When you buy a stang look for a 89-92. That way you get mass-air and forged pistons.

I would buy a 87-88 and that way while your tinkering youll have the performance from SPEED DENSITY EFI I would buy a stock on put headers Hpipe flowmasters and a gear a good clucth and fuel pump an spray it!! youll easily hit low 12's on 150 shot and around w/ a GT 13.50-13.60 on motor Hooking besides the 87 and 88's are cheaper usually.. and if you want heads and cam later you can switch it to MAF easily
