I think I might have a bad lifter!
I have some noise coming from the motor and it also just developed a miss. The motor all of a sudden feels like it has no power under light throttle.
I have some new lifters that I was about to install because the old ones are the ones that came with the car and I just reused them. Do you think one of them could have gone bad and would it cause the symptoms I just described? I have been feeling the symptoms I described since the rebuild but they were not real bad and hardly noticeable until it got hot; the hotter it gets the worse the symptoms. ------------------ James Cox nochevy@hotmail.com 1991 Mustang LX 12.565 @109.38mph 1.764 60ft |
