I wan't to change my combo on my speed density

I'm thinking about putting gt40 iron heads, cobra intake and crower baby cam or maybe the B cam to keep my 1.7 roller rockers. What do you guys think.

Not a bad combo. I don't know about the "baby" crower cam, but the B cam with 1.7's should be pretty beastly. Get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, make sure your car is in tune, and you should be able to make that combo work.

SD cars are really bitchy about cams. The GT40s and Cobra intake don't sound like a big problem...but the cam might cause problems. I don't know the specs on the Crower baby cam though, so I could be wrong. Just remember that SD systems can't adjust for increases in airflow and add fuel so you'll have to do it manually with the regulator. Like Unit said...just keep it tuned well and you should be ok.

SD cars are finicky about cams at idle and part throttle because of the inevitable lose in engine vacuum. They rely heavily on the MAP sensor to determine engine load. A low vacuum signal tells the computer the engine is under load and it reacts the only way it knows how, with more fuel. The O2 sensors then read rich and the computer gets stuck in a weird loop it can't figure out.
Lesson is: go heads, intake, LT headers, and 1.72 RR and avoid the aftermarket cam until you can convert to mass air. The few hp at WOT really isn't worth the headache.
