500 at the wheels is comming close to 600 at the crank, depending on the tranny and rearend.ur goin to want to have around 9to1 compression depending on how much boost and if you want to run race gas.u gonna have to have a turbo cam made,idk if ur gonna be injected or carbed but ur gonna have to change that system when u go to a turbo.ur gonna loose alot of power having a engine set up for a turbo if u dont have one..and ontop of that if ur gonna have a 600hp engine and then turbo then ur talkin what 800hp give or take ..right off the bat ur gonna need a $3000 dart block theres no way a stock block would take that,and if u get a dart block u can go up to a 433 or so.thats gonna be a big money motor we talking like 14,000 price range, then u gotta have a tranny,rearend ,fuel system and suspention.u really gotta decide what u want outta the car and how much cash u wanna put in it,what 1/4 mile times u want..if u talking 800hp ur talkin about 8 sec 1/4 mile and u gonna have just as much money in the motor in to the body so they would even let you race it
