Power steering control valve
Can anyone tell me if a late 60"s Mustang p.s. control valve will fit on a 77 Maverick 302, automatic w/ p. s.? Would like to know which "non-Mustang"[Maverick,Granada,etc.] autos with this style p.s. would accept this valve. Thanking you in advance. Dale

Dale, I just checked my Stainless Steel brake catalog and it looks like you can use a control valve from a 67 1/2 up to a 70 mustang to fit in a 76-77 maverick. The other cars that have the same valve are:
68-70 falcon, futura, ranhero, sprint 75-early 76 granada 68-76 mercury caliante, capri, comet, villager 76-80 monarch and lincoln versailles I hope this helps. ------------------ 69 351W Sportsroof deluxe [This message has been edited by Clark Rodgers (edited 08-24-1999).] |
