idle problem

My friend has a 94 GT that seems to be idling a little low, around 600 rpm. I know he had a larger throttle body on it, but he switched back to the stock one. It's been tuned up execpt for the PCV valve. Any answers on what it could be??

check egr if not already.
clean idle air bypass with carb cleaner.
check voltage in tps, should be right at .98
look for vacuum leaks
and mayme just adjust your idle screw on the tb

I would adjust your idle screw on the t.b....i had that same problem when i put my new edelbrock t.b. on my car when i did my engine rebuild. it was only idlying at about 700rpms and wanted to die, so i adjusted the screw and brought it up to about 1,000rpms...everything's been fine since. in case you dont know where it is, it's on the back, bottom side of the t.b. mine is an allen head screw...his might be too, but i'm not sure. just remember how much you turn it...in case that's not the problem, so you can turn it back...but i'm pretty sure that is the problem...let us know what happens. josh
