If you ever had a FMU

I am looking for a fmu disc, I want a 8-1 and a 12-1, if there is somthing in between I want that too. Let me know how much. I have a 6-1 and 30 psi injectors right now, it is too much fuel at idle I am going to swap to a smaller injector and a larger FMU disc, this shoud correct the problem. I did race Cory tonight, we were made three passes. He runs a high 114mph and I was running just 107-108, tonight I could pull on him one pass, and we were dead up two other passes.

88workcar , I realize that you want to run your fmu . But with your injector size you would be better off just getting rid of it . I do not understand why you do not , it might be worth a try (with a little tuning involved).

Adding fuel is easy, I have too much. Way too much. The car bairly idles. With the 19lbs back in the car it will , and always has idled fine. Then with a 12-1 fmu it will get enough fuel with the 19s at WOT.

With 30lb injectors on your setup, you dont even need an FMU at all.

Try tuning on it with manually adjusting fuel pressure with the 30's and no FMU in there. I bet it will run a ton better.

I have to admit, I just threw some 30's on my car, and tossed the FMU as far as I could. I got tired of running the 19's with 8psi of boost, and seeing my fuel pressure gauge hitting 100psi. I called Paxton and of course my FMU is not adjustable using a disc. I need a new one. So I put the 30's on anyway, played with the fuel pressure, and seem to have a happy medium for right now. I am running about 30-31psi, and running slightly rich according to the A/F gauge. Just my $.02

With the speed density the car will not idle with any thing bigger than a 19lb. I have tried more than once. As long as my power stays under 400hp the 19s are good. 400hp in a light car is fast. I am going to the track tonight.
