The only thing I did to the motor was blue print it. I was footbraking it. The first two runs I shifted at 5000. The last two run I shifted at 5200 and went threw at different RPM each time depend on how bad it spun. It varied from 5400-5700.

You got the 351 running real good.

I am going to the track in about an hour. Hoping for low 12's @110mph

You dropped 3 tenths with just carb. tuning? That's cool! What did you change in the carb?
Hearing this gives me hope of tweaking more E.T out of my setup.
I just ran a best of 12.93@102 and feel there's more in my setup.
I'm curious to the changes you did to knock off 3 tenths.

I put jet extensors on it and bigger accelerator pump on it and played with the air mixture screws.

I'm assuming you went from 30cc pumps to 50cc..? We have very similiar setups I'd like to get 12.6's out of mine too.
What size PV are you running?

The Carb is stock beside what I did to it. I don't know what power valve is in it. The reason why I put the 50cc accelerator pump on it was for the Spray.

Re: I'm taking my Mustang to the track (any guesses on how Fast)

I had to put a 50 cc pump in my 625 Road Demon when I changed cam ( 218/218 to 224/230 @ .050) and to an Edelbrock Air Gap. I also had to open up the pvcr's some as well as open up the low speed air bleeds a little. Suprised me some to have to do all that to get rid of the lean bog and lean stumble at cruise speeds. Also had to play with the secondary vacuum springs some for best results.

I don't think there's any end to the carb tuning one has to do when changes are made in other areas. Mine does have to remain streetable.

REV...what size converter do you have now and what are your 60' times? You just need a little more ummmmph to crack the 12's.
I'd like to see your beast break the 12's too!
When you do break the 12's, you'll be like me and wanting 11's then...LOL....but I'm going to "juice" my way into the 11's though..LOL
