What else is done to your car? I would say that injectors dont give you any power, they just support the other mods you may have. The stock injectors are all you need till you get upwards of 300 to 350 hp (I cant exactly remember which one). What year is your car? If you have a 89 to 95 (unless its a cali car then its 88-95) then you have the mass air system, in which case you would need to upgrade your mass air sensor to one calibrated to the larger injectors.

do you already have that cam in the car without mass air?!?...
19's will be fine with that setup, dont go 24's. I suggest you upgrade to mass air or your car will run outta wack with that cam.

The mass-air set up is really not big money. It's just time consuming. That is, if you work on your car yourself? You really need to go mass-air to take full advantage of your mods. However, there are some guys on this board that have ran some pretty good 1/4 mile times with heads, cam & intake on speed density. But a chip really doesn't do much IMO. What is your timing at? Because you can bump your timing up yourself....which is something a chip will do for you. You can get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator if you want to mess around with tuning for the optimum fuel psi. that your car runs best on. You really don't need a custom chip unless you were supercharged, or running nitrous of some type of major power adder with many mods (heads, cam, intake, etc.). That is when a chip would help take advantage of all the mods done to your motor. But your combo is rather mild and IMO you would not benefit much if at all from a chip. Oh yeah...and you don't need the 24lb. injectors. Your 19s will suit your combo just fine.

Default mass air??

ok so if i was to change to mass air
what would i need the
meter and wiring right

i do the work my self

timming is set at 14 %

also where to find one??

so a chip will not help me out at all?

the reason i said it cost big money is because i priced it out and the meter was like 150$ and the wiring was like 250$

open up a 5.0 mag, there are a lot of companies who sell the mass air conversion for around $350, I think www.allmustang.com has it. And yes for your mods a chip is useless.
