Default Injectors & EEC

Anyone running the Lucas 38#ers? What about the EEC Tuner? I need to have the car tuned and for $389 I can tune it and retune it when I add or delete parts. Dyno tuning starts @ $125 hr + $295 for the chip + $75 reburn and probably another $125 hr. Thanks.

Personally I'd go for 42lb injectors and have the maf calibrated for them and a supercharger. I love my EEC tuner and would recommend it to anyone with good efi experience.

I've heard near horror stories about the 42# injectors. With the EEC Tuner could the idle problems be taken out? Also they are expensive.

Really, I've never heard that. I've always heard lucas injectors weren't all that great. The new lighning does come stock with 42lb injectors. My car runs great, solid idle, great power, and decent gas mileage all this with 50lb injectors.

You can adjust just about anything with the Tuner. If you do your homework and your positive it isn't anything mechanical you can make it drive like stock. Go ahead and join the group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EECTuner, you can get a wealth of information there. Try this too http://www.iwantperformance.net/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi and of course http://www.eec-tuner.com

Good luck
Brad
