Question injectors question

I just bought a mustang with the following mods:
Alum. Edelbrock RPM Heads
E-303 Cam
Harland Roller Rockers
Edelbrock Performer Intake
Edelbrock 70mm throttle body
Vortech S-Trim Supercharger ( 8 lbs. boost)
BBK Fuel Pressure regulator
Msd retard /timing boost
underdrive Pulley

It has the 24# injectors and i was told to change them to 32# injectors or risk detonation, i just wanted to get other people's advice

I would go with some bigger injectors for sure. 30-36 #'ers should be safe.

You are right at the edge of what 24# injectors can handle.

Does the car have a FMU? If not, upgrading to a larger injector would be a wise decision. The next size up is a 30lb injector, followed by a 36. If you don't have a FMU, 30's should be a good match, however if you plan on upping the HP or boost, you may want to consider the 36's.

Default 36s

I'd get 36lb. injectors...& lose the FMU.

Well, not exactly. Heat causes detonation, which can be from lack of fuel. If the car runs fine as is with no knock under load, I wouldn't worry about it. While the FMU is not the ideal setup, they do a good job of providing enough fuel and have been used for many, many years without problems.
