Default inner tie rod

I need to rep;ace the passenger side inner tie rod and I cannot get the lock pin out no matter what I try--any suggestions?

Use pliers to pry it out, do whatever it takes, they are cheap replacements and can be found at your local parts store. Break it and pull it out if you have to...

my honest suggestion for this would be to replace the whole rack. its only about 100.00 or so w/ a core return. if you have 1 bad inner tie rod, chances are the rest of the rack is old & worn along with the seals.
