Question Installed Clutch..Few questions?

My friend and I installed my new King Cobra clutch this weekend. Everything appears to working properly. However, when I get above 2k RPM I get a little more vibration coming from the tranny?? Is this normal break-in or something to worry about?? I didn't get to do everything I wanted while I was doing the clutch because my friend didn't have the time and I was using his car lift. So I didn't get to have the flywheel resurfaced or replace the rear main seal. The flywheel looked fine and smooth with no noticeable marks or uneveness in it. I did replace the pilot bearing, throwout bearing, and bearing retainer.

OUCH!!!! not doing the flywheel might cost you big time......
Should have gone w/ steel bearing retainer too....the stock aluminum ones will groove out and cause a vibration.
You really really should have resurfaced the flywheel.

You should have done that flywheel. Probably wouldnt of costed but about 20 bucks. Its just goin to have to brake in since you didnt do the flywheel. Give it about 200-250 miles and she will be fine.

I made that mistake once!

I knew I was going to regret not getting that flywheel resurfaced!! I only have 60K miles on it.... It didn't look bad at all. So is this going to give my problems or cause my clutch to wear out any sooner?? If it is that big of a deal I will take it apart again just to do the flywheel??
Give me some advice here...

I said a replaced the bearing retainer? No need to worry, I did use a steal one instead of the aluminum one.

I think it should be fine. The first time I changed my clutch I didnt resurface my flywheel and it jumped bad on takeoff but wore in after about 250 miles.

Mad Horse, Always resurface your fly wheel! When i replaced my clutch, I looked at the fly wheel and was about to put it back in too b/c it was all smooth and shiney. But Jacob(CobraR87) advised me to get it resurfaced any way, it turned out that it was soooo bad that i almost had to replace it. It took the guy about 30 minutes to grind it down even. Looks can be really decieving. Light Em Up!!!
