Installing CAM
My son and I have decided to go H/C/I for our project car(X303, AFR185s, Typon intake). Starting to strip the car down - would like to get some good pointers on installing this combo, especially the cam. Are there any good articles posted on the web that tells how to install a cam in a 5.0 stang?
All comments are appreciated. |

I used my Chiltons manual and it worked great. Get a good assembly lube. If you can pull the motor, life will be much easier. Other than that, have fun and enjoy the bonding experience.

No need to pull the motor. Drain the radiator and remove it, unbolt the A/C condensor and move it out of the way and you can slide the cam straight out the front of the engine (after removing everying down to the timing cover of course)
