Default installing GT 40 heads

I’m going to install my S V O GT 40 heads, the only thing is the block is an 86, and the heads I took off are E5, will I have to notch my pistons for these heads to work? And if I do can I put one notch across the valve area on the piston, or do I need to put four separate notches like the stock piston?

Depends on the cam. Check the clearance while it's apart. And no, you dont need all four notches, there are four so that the pistons can go on either side of the engine...

I'm going to install an e cam with the heads, not sure on which rockers, i was thinking about using 1.7 to increase the size of the cam.

what are "svo gt-40" heads? valve size, iron?

Well, I would not run an e-cam with an 86 block, the pistons will probaly hit, or it would be so close....well, at least check it, if it will hit just have them notched, you can do it with the pistons in the holes i believe.
