![]() I am thinking about getting a E-brock RPM intake with a 75mm accufab TB. Currently Ive got a TFS Street Heat with an FMS 65mm TB....since its a 5 speed im figuring the lost torque wont be a prob...whatcha think?
------------------ TW Heads, TW Steet Intake, 65mm TB, 75mm MM, Anderson N-2 cam, melling oil pump, underdrives, paxton regulator, bbk 155 intank, 30lbers, motorsport alum rad, accell 8.8 wire, msd ignition and coil, 3.73 gear, WC t-5z, cobra clutch, K&N, hooker shorties, pacesetter h-pipe, and dynomax cat back, mac upper and lower control arms, no front sway bar. I think that's it. GO ILLINI!!! 12.985 @ 107.43 w/ 1.929 60' time on street tires. |

![]() What about the Holley or if you want to stay with TFS the R series? Whats is wrong with your street heat? I think the 75mm TB is way to big on a NA motor, but I have the 65mm Accufab the quality is awesome.

![]() I agree, 75mm is way too big for that motor...I have a 65mm on mine and it makes awesome power the way it is.

![]() I'd stay with the TFS. I have tried the GT-40, and the RPM, when I finally set on the TFS, I fell in love. One reason I like it better is the ports line right up. It also flows better than the RPM. The Holley is evuivalent to the Track Heat. Hope this helps.

![]() Thanks for the replies...my only reason for considering an intake and tb swap is because my buddy is going to a blower setup with his dss 306 and its and AOD so he wants to keep the lower torque band...therefore he wants my intake and tb to aid in that....so we were thinking about swapping intakes and tb's and i would give him $150....i just figured that since mine is an t-5 i wont be hurting for low end torque cuz i can just pop the clutch at the track wherever i want to. I was also talk to anderon ford and they said that a 75mm tb wouldnt be a problem..i also figured that since my cam goes until 6000+ rpm and the TFS cuts off at 5500, i will be able to squeeze out some more hp...thanks again for the replies and let me know what ya think.

![]() I was also talikng to Anderson about a new cam and he suggested a larger TB, buy big so you don't have to later, it really will not hurt HP I was told.
