well, i think you need to think of the total combination not just a couple of pieces. if you run either intake or carb and put in a cam that has specs that dont coincide with the others then you are wasting you time. so build your motor around the power band you want to run in (ex. 1500-600 rpm, or 3000-7500 or idle -5500 rpm),decide what cam will then put you in the power band you want to live in and then the intake and heads and carb to match. here is my 2 cents worth, and if some gives me a penny for my thoughts, then someone is making a penny.
