![]() i am putting an 85 5.0 H.O 4bbl with stock 600cfm carb into my Ranger, i have to get headers to do this, and i can only find 1 1/2" primary headers both long and short tube, i know hooker makes 1 5/8" ones but they are far too expensive to get here in ontario canada ($1000) so i would like to know if 1 1/2" hlong tube headers would sacrifice all that much power and torque as compared to the 1 5/8" hooker or with the 1 1/2" be enough for my stock engine with very mildly ported E7TE's and a free floowing 2 1/2" dual exhaust with "h pipe". also does any one have a suggestion for an intake manifold that would best suite this set up and for keeping the power low enough to be a good street engine (im trying to decide between edelbrock performer, or performer rpm or weiand) thanks for any help you can give me
