Default hitting 13's in a vert...AUTO. : (

Well the question is, what is the best way to hit consistent 13's in my AOD equipped vert. I have everything in the sig. the Converter and cooler aren't in yet. I hit a 15.3 with a 2.2 60ft' time on street tires. I was thinking about a supercharger, but I wanna stay N/A. So when I do end up hitting 13's N/A...why not slap the supercharger on, and then really surprise everyone. Thanx

You want a Kenne Bell. It will work great with your auto.

You'll need heads, cam, intake, tb, maf, full exhaust. All the makes for a 12sec coupe.

Go with some TFS heads, E-303 cam, edelbrock intake. You can't go wrong with any choices on these, all the aftermarket parts are good.

13's are no problem.

I have an AOD car that runs low 13's @ 105 MPH on street tires, naturally aspirated.

A couple things have been changed on the car since these times, but you can follow my recipe. Just check it out on the users ride page.

thanx for the input guys. I had one question about a supercharger. How much boost would I need to be running mid 13's? Because I'm still saving up and I'm not sure if I wanna do the supercharger first, or intake,heads,cam..etc...But how much boost would I be lookin at to go mid 13's?

I was running 13.8s@102.??(can't remember exactly) with my 89 lx vert at 3700#s. I had B&M 2400 stall and shift kit, full exhaust w/cats, A-trim, 73mm C&L, 190 fuel pump, mega bite jrs, 3.73s and MSD (I think thats it).. this was on bald BFG T/As. Lighten it up some and better tires would probably had me in the mid 13s. I think going the heads, cam, intake route would have been better to start with, then blower later. I'm actually thinking of taking my blower off and just running it NA now.
