Jaz Race seats install... HELP.

I was trying to install my Jaz race seats today. And after getting everything out I went to put the seats back in.

First off the mounts summit sold me were complete crap. So I decieded to try and use the stock mounts, but they werent the correct width. So I tried to use some sheet metal to attach to the Jaz seat and then to the stock mount. It worked, but it ended up being way to flimsy once I got it in the car.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to rig it up with the stock seat mounts?

There was a post on here awhile back about the install. You might try doing a search to find it. Good luck.

Oh yeah, I think Rick91GT on here installed a set. If you can get ahold of him he might be able to help ya.

Hey Sky I guess you saw my reply over at The Corral? They really don't fell that bad so far but my cars not together so I havn't driven it yet, lots more support then the stock pieces. A little awkward with the new cage though

Thanks for the offer Rick, I appreciate it! But I think I've got it figured out. I got the metal today and I"m going to have it cut at a machine shop tomrrow. Gotta have this all ready to go saturday for carlsbad!

Hey Sky, good luck this weekend I'll be looking for a post on those new times, prove all those naysayers wrong.

When I get my motor together and semi tuned I'm going to get mine on dyno and I will be at the track before that, can't wait to see my numbers, what will they say then.
