Default Jegs/trickflow aluminum rearend cover fluid capacity

I figured the 8.8 rearend holds 2 qts, but with the Jegs aluminum rear cover/girdle 2 didn't quite fill it up to the fill hole. Should I add more or is 2 ok?

I filled mine to the hole. As soon as it started leaking out the fill hole I stopped. I can't remember how much it was in total.

Also, did you add the Ford Friction Modifer?

No, the carrier is an auburn and the fluid I used (Redline synthetic) already has friction modifier in it. It didn't chatter or make any kind of noise when I drove around turns so it should be good without any additional friction modifier, but I may pick up another quart of Redline and fill it to the hole.
