Cool JMS chips are sweet

If anyone out there is thinking about getting a chip for their car (custom burned or not), they should get a JMS chip.

I was having lots of detonations and idle surge problems just a couple days ago. But now that I have installed the chip, my car has really come to life.

No detonation what so ever, no idle surge, runs cooler, revs a lot higher before shifting, shifts much harder, and the best thing is I can now roast the rear tires at a dead stop without having my foot on the brake.

I don't know if it would make as much of a difference if you had a stock car but mine was an extremely noticable difference.
Thanks a lot Johnson Motor Sports!!!

I haven't been to the track yet. I plan on going soon. I didn't want to go until I got rid of the detonation because it was pretty embarrassing.

I'm not sure if the cam would work with nos. I know that it's rated at over 2500rpms and is pretty lopey. It actually sounds pretty mean and has gotten me lots of compliments on the sound. Are you thinking of getting one?

Yes, i heard good things about them, a guy i met at the track had a 351 gt, with a killer sound coming from it, i asked what cam he was running, and he said it was a lunati n20 cam, and i believe he was running low 12's.

Also i think that cam would fit without flycutting correct?

Yes bada$$lx, you were definately right. Thanks for the recommendation and that's why I'm passing on the info to anyone else that has the same idle, detonation problems.

I didn't have to do any fly cutting with my cam...I think the pistons I have are flat on the top and work with both that cam and TFS heads. Actually if you go to the Holley website, you can send them an email asking if any Lunati cam would work with your setup.
