MAF or Speed Density
I need a clear description of how to tell if I have MAF or Speed Density. My car is a 92 lx. The guy I bought it from told me it was speed density, but I thought 92 cars were MAF

It should be MAF, anyway, right behind your airbox, if there is a metal cylinder type piece with a small black electrical box on top of it, you have a MAF. If all you have behind you airbox is a big tube running all the way back to your throttle body right beside the intake, you have a speed density car. Hope its a MAF!!

A '92 definately has the MAF (unless the guy you bought it from swapped it for something a little more old school)
