Question Kenne Bell Supercharger?

Hey guys, i have been considering forgetting about my ground effects and stuff, and getting a supercharger. What do u guys think of the Kenne Bell units? It looks to be the best for my situation, not too much to install, easy, suppossed to give me 130hp and 130 lbs of torque. Any of you guys have one on your cars? My car is all stock, with 72000 miles on it. Will this hurt it? I can get one for 1600-1800 dollars, and it looks to be the way to go for me. Anyone have any experience with em?

I would do the supercharer over the ground effects any day. I had a Vortech and it was great, but for the street the KB will be the most fun.

As long as you dont go too crazy with the boost levels, then your motor will hold up just fine. But as with any power adder, don't be suprised if you blow a head gasket or break other parts from time to time.

And where can you find one for $1600-1800?

I did a couple of post on this eariler. Do a search if you want to see. I am still considering getting one, but think i will get a turbo system instead. The major road block in the Kenne-Bell units is that it is NOT intercolled. This becomes a problem abore 8-10PSI because you have to start to run higher octane fuel. If you leave it below these settings it is said to be rock sold for the street. If you can be happy in these limits, Get one. Myself, I think I want a little more punch in the end. Try www.Kenne-bell.net , There is a lot of info here plus more pictures.

i have found several complete units on ebay fot his price. Im not really sure about buying it from then though, but if its missing parts, that would mean I would HAVE to buy more parts, which is good for me, cuz then i would have anexcuse for spending more money. If and hopefully, when i get one, do i have to mess around with my fuel set-up? or my SD? can i still run my K$N Cold air? Also, the kits i have found come with a 6 # and an 8#, would it be better just to stay with the 6#? what would be the power diff? THANKS GUYS
