kickin and spittin
Hey guys, i was battling with this last year and now i am back at it this spring. I put in 24# injectors over the winter and it didn't change anything. When i hit about 3500rpm at WOT it starts kicking abd bucking and sometimes backfires. I can run it up nice and easy over 3500rpm, but not while i am hard on the throttle. I have a comp cam, cobra intake, 65mm throttle body, 24# injectors, and windsor jr. heads. any thoughts on what might be causing this issue? Also, i am running it at full advance, and i have tried letting the em auto advacne, but that doesn't work good at all. any thoughts are greatly appreciated. thanks

O, sorry i forgot to mention that part. I am still running Speed density. It is weird, it seems like it would have changed soe with the large injectors, but it is the same exact situation. I put in a new regulator when all this started and didn't help at all. The only thing i have not checked is the fuel pressure on the rail. My rail does not have a fitting to be able to check the pressure. Do you guys no if i can put some kind of in line pressure fitting somehow? |

What do you mean when you say your running it at "full advance"? What is the timing set at right now? Are you pulling any codes?
