Larger TB inlet tubes?

since I have a 70mm TB the stock air tubes dont even come close to fitting, I wondered what you all did to make it work... I mean I can get a CAI kit but how did you all handle it... the simplest method I figured would be to get some dryer hose or something.. but that would look like crap

i think all that you have to do is spray the inside of the tube with wd-40 and it will stretch over , i cant remember but thats all i think we did on my friends car its mass air. so it is a little easier to move around. you could also sand down the inside a little to see if that helps

i guess the condition of the rubber matters , in stead of buying a CAI go to a diesel shop and see what they will charge for cutting some diesel exhaust th fit .

I got my turbo tubing from a diesel shop for $100.00 cut and coated

stock air tubes normally work on 70mm TB's with no problems. maybe your not trying hard enough...:)

My car's a daily driver I think the rubber gets harder over the years, it doesnt have much give anymore... I'll just have to make it happen.
