last minute track preparations

any suggestions on things to do to get my daily driver into drag strip mode for the season?

Well, remove the front sway bar for the track, loose as much weight up front as possible and in the cab(seats), bring a bag of ice to lay on the intake between runs, bump timing to optimum running, get some high octane gas, run a short belt and bypass what you can, get new plugs, cap and rotor, and run fresh oil. Most important, DO NOT LET YOUR FOOT OFF OF THE GAS.

Seriously, though, those are good recommendations. A good tune (don't forget a clean air filter, and maybe a new fuel filter if it needs it.) can go a long way.
