my throw out bearing is bad but it dosnt chirp it tichs...when the engine is cold and my foots not on the clutch pedel it "tich tich tich tich" but when my foot is resting on it it stops..and usually when the engine warms up it goes away

mustangbelle...dont take it to the shop anymore..buy yourself a craftsman tool set :)

Ok, this must be an all-ford transmission/clutch/throwout bearing problem.....I had the exact same problem with my 1983 ford ranger. I replaced everything from the flywheel on back: clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, fork, clutch pedal and cable assembly, and my transmission with another ranger 5 speed but nothing seemed to help permanently. The chirp never went away longer than a month or so. Maybe it's cuz i kinda slapped ***** together with the ranger to make it run, but i don't know. hope you get it fixed! :)
