Well, I had a shop install my clutch. It was only becuase I didn't have access to a lift

Same thing happens to Sally. When I'm at idle, there is a little squeeking noise that sounds like it's comming from the engine, but it's really the tranny. The clutch fork is just a little lose. I always have my foot on the pedal so I don't notice it unless I'm out of my car. You can try adjusting the tention on your clutch cable. Try that, it might help ya out
