Lock Actuator Problem

The power locks on my stang havent' worked since I got it, the bad part about that is I can't lock my car unless i take them out. Well I had my door panel off the other day and could not find out how to get it out. Anybody ever changed them before??

You should be able to still lock and unlock your doors manually. One of my power locks doesn't work and I still can lock it by just pressing down on it. It takes a little more pressure but it still can be done.
I never replaced any yet but I plan on fixing it soon. I was told the actuator is only held on with a singe rivit. It's supposed to be simple to change.

Sometimes when the actuators really sieze good, they are REALLY hard to push. reach in and pull the rod out of the actuator and it will work real easy until you put new ones in.
