Default Whats the going price for long tube header installation?

I am going to have a performance shop install my mac long tube headers and custom make 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust all the way back. I am keeping the stock mufflers and tips so it will still have a stock sound.

They are supposed to give me an estimate today for the header install. I read the instructions on the headers and it sounded like a real PITA.

I am guessing it will be somewhere between 200-300 dollars for the header install alone.

Has anyone else had this done?

Houston Performance quoted me at 400 dollars for the headers alone, then another 200+ for the h pipe and mufflers. Battleground said 380 for the headers and 150 for pipes/mufflers. Elite Motorsport, before Jay and Trish left, said they'd do the whole thing for 480 bucks.

do your research, short tube headers run more power. just think of the PITA it will be if you have to take your car in the shop for tranny repair, it is extra time to pull it cuz the long tube headers are in the way of it. i see them here all the time and i charge an extra 1.5 hours for the removal just to get the tranny out. shorty equal length make better power anyway and also give you GOOD ground clearance. but to answer your question, it would roughly cost you (labor only) about 3-4 hours, 300-350 bucks.
