Default Long Tubes Vs Equal Lengths

from my signature do yall think i can have a substantial gain by switching from 1 5/8" equal lengths to 1 5/8" bbk ceramic long tubes. also is it possible to take off the bellhousing without removing the headers for clutch replacements. i appreciate any input
