Angry MAC longtubes 96-98 4v smoke screen

I put some mac longtubes, dr gas crossover, and mac flow paths on my 97 cobra.....it couldnt sound more amazing. However, she now couldnt burn more oil either. If the dipstick is on full and I get on it around town for a night, when i return home and check the stick it wont even pick up a hint of oil. 2 quarts atleast it burns in less than 50 miles. My grandma's 76 granada burns less oil. I have talked to a few ppl and they all say that it is the MAC headers, they scavange to well and suck the oil past the rings. Anyhows, im sure the only fix is to replace them with another brand of header. I still would like longtubes but now im sorta skiddish about it. The MACs dont look much different than the other brands I have seen. Id like to know if any one has had better luck or knows of someone with another companies longtubes are their cobra? BBK, SHM, Kooks, Hooker.....do all longtubes just burn oil?

Ty,
jax
