Longtubes vs. Shorties

Ok I have equal length shortiesnow and off-road h-pipe. My new combo will either be 306 w/Nos or a 347. Would Bassani or BBK longtubes and a off-road X-pipe show much HP gains?

The long tube headers will make good power with a 347 or NOS'ed 306. I'm not certain, but maybe 15-20 hp gain with those combinations over the shorties.

Go with the longs with either engine. They will add more torque. Thats what you need to get you going anyway.
