1st time at track
I went to the strip for the first time Saturday. I unhooked my blower to see what it ran stock. My best time N/A was 14.687@95.54 I then hooked up my 14 procharger and ran a best 12.92@ 112.74 with a 1.945 60ft.

Nice drop! Did you run the 1.945 60' with slicks?
Judging by your MPH vs.ET looks like you need some gears! [This message has been edited by red82gt (edited 05-23-2001).] |

I had some bald BFG drag radials. I have 3.55's but my suspension is set up for road racing and with the Koni yellows I get no weight transfer.

That's still a pretty mean 60' for a road race suspension. Is it losing its bite through second and third? I'd say 355's are probably about right for your car.

It felt like it was spinning through first and then it would bark in second and then take off hard. This is all with stock mass air, injectors, and throttle body.

89 ATI were you at US.41 last Saturday? If you were I brought a extra pair of slicks that I was going to let people use. I asked one person (think it was Kevins brother) if he wanted to use them but he already had good tires. I would of let you esu them looks like they would of helped you out.

Thats good, 112mph could take you very low 12's easy. I run 107mph and run 12.5's, so get some traction!

I was there Saturday. I had the convertible. I think slicks would have helped me out a lot. Maybe next time. Were you in the blue car?
