lowering a 98 GT

are there any advers effects to lowering a 98 GT? I think it would look better if it sat a little lower like an F-body does? Anyone know how much it costs?

try the modular engines / street racing board for answers, but with my 94 (same body as yours) I lowered it 2" all around with Eibach sportlines, and;

1) looks way better, 4x4 look is gone
2) with the tokico's shocks in the rear, it stays planted, no squirelly yet even when nailing the throttle in 2nd around a corner, just grabs and goes (tires help too tho !)
3) the local shop was able to do front end performance alignment without c/c plates (which saved me about $300 there)

total cost, $400 Canadian for springs, adjustment, and rear shocks (self-installed) that works out to about $245 US..
(only cause I got the springs for CHEAP!)
