MAC Intake
Anyone have any info on the mac intake? When will it be out? How will it compare to the Cobra, Edelbrock, Holley, and Trick Flow?
Any information is appriciated!!! ------------------ 90 Mustang GT (hatchback) 3.55's, dyno-max exhaust, Mac Cold Air Induction |

I don't remember all the stuff on it, but there was an article on it in 5.0 magazine. Since then I read another article somewhere and they said it is basically an edelbrock intake with the mac logo on it. It also is not as cheap as everyone thoght it was going to be. Not hard data but I did recall reading it. Hope someone else has more info.

the corrected price is $400.00, not $300.00 as originally anounced. It is the edelbrock design with some minor improvements, supposedly flowing better. This would make it flow more than the cobra, but i think still less than the trick flow. The holly rocks, but it might not be right for you, and its expensive. All things considered, the MAC looks like it would be a great intake for a mild combo. with some decent aftermarket heads for the price range.

i ordered one back in mid feb. and was told that it would be in by the first or second week of april, i left a deposit and then last weekend, couldn't wait anylonger and picked up the trickflow, i was told that the MAC wouldn't be available until like late fall. Something about production, what they do is sit on orders until they have a certain number, then go into production.
