Ok, so I got some 14" T-Bird wheels with Blizzaks mounted on them. I went to put them on this afternoon, and discovered the fronts won't clear the caliper.

Took an informal poll of the car guys I know. They all seemed to suggest using spacers, but that might require longer wheel studs. Chaging studs is a real PITA, so I don't know if I want to do that. Plus, they're 205/70's, so clearance might be an issue if I put a 1" spacer in the front. What do I have for options?

4cyl calipers. They are total **** for braking (they may require a master cylinder change). It's an option though. Your tires are a little tall for your application. 195/70 R14 would have been the proper size.

The snow tires i had for my LX were brand new and i realized that they couldn't be mounted on my GT so i had to go out and get new tires for the 16" wheels i already had. I don't think there is a way to avoid the fact that the 14" wheels wont fit on the car. Sorry to hear your misfortune.
