				 | 24# injector problems with Pro-M 77mm HELP! Ever since my new N/A combo was in, I've been having a rich idle problem. I read on a thread that this is a known problem with 24# and pro-m. My signature is on the bottom with my combo. Can you guys tell me if I can run 30# injectors with this N/A combo without being too rich? And also, in the future, I plan to put on an S-trim vortech. Will 30#ers be enough for the supercharger too? I think 36#ers would be better for my combo with the charger but I would hate to buy 30s for now and then have to buys 36ers again later!! Any advice??????????????????? ------------------ 1989 LX Coupe, N/A 306. | Are you running 3/4" reach plugs or stock length plugs? Running stock plugs in a TFS head could cause symptoms of running rich. Is your MAF meter calibrated for 24# injectors? If it was calibrated for 19# the computer is opening the injectors longer than it should. That problem would be corrected by the computer after a while, though. How long have you had the problem? I have a Pro-M 77 running with 24# injectors and my idle is fine. ------------------ 351W 89 Mustang GT Convertible |
