MAF on a stock engine - Any difference?
I'm looking at swapping my stock MAF for a C&L 76mm with a power pipe. Did you guys notice any difference when you changed MAF's (not necessarily C&L..)? Track time difference or seat of the pants? Keep in mind I'm mostly stock (offroad H pipe, cat-back, K&N, pullies).

I will say that the money you spend on that piece could be applied elsewhere. If you calibrate it for factory squirters, you will in escience be replacing the same with the same. You may get the benefit of increased airflow, but nothing that the computer is going to make a good deal of sense of. You best bet is to aim for the mechanicals that make an engine breathe better and then you will use the MAF to tell that computer that the engine DOES BREATHE BETTER. Hold on to the money and go with cam, intake, heads, and then upgrade the electronics.

I have the 76mm C & L, and with 19# injectors, you really won't feel any seat in the pants difference. Now if you cars modified then maybe so. If you want to feel a seat in the pants difference and you don't already have them get sum 3:55's , or 3:73's. =P

Hmmm...interesting. My car is stock meaning stock longblock. I have 3.73's, pullies, offroad H pipe, cat-back exhaust, K&N conical air filter, Accel wires, timing advanced... Reason I was looking at this is because it's easy to install, I'm hoping it will make a bit more power, and it has a nice power pipe (I do show my car on occasion). Any other input? Keep em coming (whether you felt a change or not, or saw one at the dyno or track). Thanks!

The latest 5.0 mag has a dyno test on the C & L 76mm with the pip, vs. Pro Bullet 77mm,and it makes like 9 more hp and 10 more lb's of torque than the Pro Bullet 77mm. Pretty impressive. The car had 24# inj., cam, heads, etc. The c&L 76mm w/pipe looks pretty cool, but if you show it every now and then you can't beat BBK cold Air induction fenderwell mount for looks. Go to my site and check it out.
