Default my first trip to the track... my last?

So I was at seguin this friday, and I ran my car for the first time. First pass got decent traction, 2.1 60 ft and ran a 14.09 @ 98 with a passenger. Not bad for an automatic convertible. On the second pass, about at about foor 1000 of 1320, I hear this loud pop, and actually feel it through the pedal. I start smoking and the car isnt feeling right at all. That pass I ran a 14.09, the exact same time. I know its got a better pass in it because it stopped pulling after the pop. I pull to the parking lot and popped the hood. I had oil all over my upper intake, on the headers, and the drivers side valve cover. My first thought was that I blew a valve cover gasket, so we removed the upper intake to find oil spilling out of the runners. I even had oil in my throttle body. It still ran but it overheated and just plain didnt feel right. (especially since i broke a vacuum line putting the upper back on and i had no breaks and it couldn't idle) What happened to my car that second pass?

I dunno what happened to your car but i'd definately say it could run faster than that... how much boost are you running?

I agree. That time seems off.

It wasn't the best idea to run the car again, knowing you had something wrong.

Hope you fix the problem and make it back to the track.

Sounds like excessive crank case pressure.

The fact that you are running at only 98 mph indicates you are not making good horsepower. With the procharger you should be running at least 110 mph.

one enginebuilder I talked to told me I shouldnt have the oil filler spout hooked up to the PCV valve (which is what the procharger manual said) because it pressurized my crank case. IF this is thie case, is my car okay?

also, it hits about 10 or so psi of boost in 1st gear, but then shifts at 5000 in second gear so it only sees about 7 lbs. I dont think I see the 3/4 shift.
