Well, I just dropped off my TW heads to my machine shop for some work: They'll be cc'ing the chambers, then milling, installing new AFM Hi-Rev valve springs, freshen-up with a 3-angle valve job, heli-coiling all the exhaust bolt holes, etc. I'm hoping to drop the cc's to around 58 or so, thus yielding close to 10.0:1 compression.
I've got a new cam from Anderson too, an N-41 w/1.72 rr. And, a new intake: Trick Flow Track Heat which will be gasket matched to a Fel-Pro 1262 (to match the head ports). A new Accufab 75mm TB will be added as well.
My goal is to make more power - hopefully enough to go 112-113 on the motor w/drag radials - maybe more!

My old combo of GT-40 intake, 65mm TB and steeda cam were just not enough for this 331. The car would 'hit the wall' rpm-wise at 5000. It just couldn't get enough air after that. Basically, it was dead up top.
So, we'll see what happens. The heads should be done next week and then I can start to button everything up again. I'll be sending my JMS chip out for a re-burn as well. I'm still debating whether or not I should ditch my BBK equal-length headers for some long-tubes. Is there that much power to pick up there? Thoughts?
Just wanted to give you guys an update of what's going on with my car.
