Arrow Power steering

I have a 67 coupe and was wondering if anyone knows of a good power steering system. I have heard that the original ford power steering systems leek.

Thanks for you help!

When I got my 68 coupe 2 years ago, every component of the power steering system had been removed. I purchased every part from AutoZone, i.e., pump, control valve, power steering cylinder, all hoses, etc., and nothing has leaked a drop in 2 years. Was much cheaper than ordering all those original "Ford" parts from the Mustang catalogs (not showing it for points anyway). Only problem I had was keeping the hoses from resting on my manifolds. Original bracket (for some reason) wouldn't fit in original location and I had to jimmy-rig a bracket I made myself to hold the hoses out of the way.

Default Power Steering

Even when new, the classic Mustang power steering
suffered bump steer because of incorrect geometry and a little bit of slop from the design of the valve setup. And, you can't really get good rebuilds on the gear, you have to go new like Flaming River which are expensive. Just about better in the long run if starting on a complete rebuild is the power rack & pinion setup from total control products. Not cheap, but a vast improvement in handling and responsiveness.
