Default Help!?!?!

So I've got the 79 Stang and i desperatley wanted to put a solid 5 speed in it, and i found an ebay one out of a 2001 Cobra ... only 5 k miles on it and a solid tremec ... but when i was looking for a driveshaft someone sent me this

"Since you have a 79 Mustang and most likely you have a small block engine, the TR3650 will not work due to the clutch housing is for a 4.6L Mod Motor. The clutch housing on the 3650 is the front of the transmission due to the intregal design."

is this true, is there there any way i could mod this to work ... and if its no, does anyone want a TR3650 transmission?
